Counselling is a process of ‘talk therapy’ whereby the individual is allowed the space and time to discuss overwhelming life issues and any difficulties they encounter.
The process involves a trained therapist listening empathically and sympathetically to help the individual find solutions to deal with emotional issues.
Counselling helps the individual discover new ways of coping and gain better understanding of their feelings and actions, aswell as the feelings and actions of others.
I believe counselling can be a wonderful tool in helping the individual alleviate stress and trauma in everyday life from relationship difficulties, bereavement, anger issues, life-work balance, family issues. I have years of valuable experience in helping people with these types of difficulties.
